On January 16th, 2024, CanCham PRD organized a visit for our company members to explore PIEP, a bilingual and IB world preschool for personalized and innovative education in Guangdong Province., which is called The Personalized Innovative Education Preschool (PIEP). This visit aimed to familiarize our members with PIEP, one of our newest company members, and its unique international bilingual education system.
2024年1月16日，珠三角加拿大商会组织了一次参观活动，让我们的会员们参观了广东省的一所个性化创新教育的IB世界学校——华外PIEP爱培幼儿园（简称“PIEP”）。这次参观的目的是让会员们更好地了解我们最新的会员之一--PIEP，以及它独特的国际双语教育体系。
The Chamber arranges Company Member Visits exclusively for our members to facilitate face-to-face discussions and meaningful conversations, enabling them to exchange industry knowledge and valuable resources. PIEP (Personalized Innovative Education Preschool) closely follows the progress of Huawei Tongwen Foreign Language School, a subsidiary of Guangzhou Tongwen Education Group, and continuously strives to enhance the connection between students, parents, and the education industry.
PIEP creatively combines Chinese national standards with the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB-PYP) curriculum framework. Our curriculum is compatible with international courses and local academic and cultural courses, building a dual-track fusion curriculum that combines the advantage of the Chinese and Western world,aiming at leveling up elementary education of students. This is also the focus of the Canadian education system to cultivate kids to be lifelong learners and world citizens with IB learner profile—inquirer,knowledgeable,thinker,communicator, principled,opening-minded, caring, risk-taker, balanced and reflective.
PIEP是一所IB国际双语幼儿园，它紧跟广州同文教育集团旗下华外同文外国语学校的发展步伐，不断致力于加强学生、家长与教育行业之间的联系。PIEP 创造性地将国际文凭（IB PYP）课程框架以及国家课程标准相结合，搭建中西结合的双轨融合课程，旨在提高学生的基础教育水平，把孩子培养成积极探究、知识渊博、勤于思考、善于交流、坚持原则、胸襟宽阔、懂得关爱、敢于尝试、全面发展、及时反思的终身学习者和世界公民，这也是加拿大教育体系关注的重点。
Yummy expressed her passion for education in the roundtable. She emphasised the importance of early childhood education and firmly believes that every child has unlimited potential and possibilities. She believes that education is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about developing children's character and abilities. She is committed to providing a loving and caring learning environment for every child so that they can grow and develop happily. She focuses on building good relationships with children, listening to their ideas and needs, and respecting their individual differences. She believes that through love and support, every child is able to develop to their full potential.CanCham PRD considers herself not only an educator, but a leader.
